{"id":1979623,"url":"https://alion.io/job/the-navigators-guest-services-associate-glen-eyrie","title":"Guest Services Associate- Glen Eyrie","company":{"id":2058458,"name":"The Navigators","domain":"navigators.org","url":"https://alion.io/company/navigators-org","size_band":"501-1000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workday","truth_index":{"grade":"B","score":75,"open_postings":3,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":1,"repost_share":0,"time_to_fill_p50_days":null,"computed_at":"2026-10-23T05:54:15Z"}},"role":"Customer Success","role_family":"Customer Success","seniority":null,"employment_type":"part_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Colorado Springs, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":{"min":16,"max":null,"currency":"USD","period":"hour","gross":null,"usd_annual":32000},"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Microsoft Office","optional":true}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-06T22:43:39Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-06","last_verified_at":"2026-10-22T12:32:11Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":16,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":16},"description":"PRIMARY PURPOSE \nThe Guest Services Associate shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.\nThis position functions as a primary point of contact for customers, guests, visitors, and donors who visit Glen Eyrie or contact Glen Eyrie by phone or email before, during, or following a visit at both the Hotel Front Desk and Hotel Reservations.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nGuest Services Responsibilities - 95%\nRespond quickly to requests from guests, supervisors, or management in a friendly and efficient manner, following up to ensure guest satisfaction.\nPossess knowledge of reservation and billing procedures, maintenance and control of room inventory and availability, products, rates, special programs, and emergency procedures.\nHandle department accounting of monies, guest accounts and other forms of credit, post charges, and follow-up if needed with guests on alternate forms of payment.\nRevenue optimization by coordinating services and offering upgrades to guests.\nRegular inter-departmental communication to keep team apprised of events during a shift.\nMaintain supplies neat and organized to department standards.\nAlways provide a professional image through appearance and dress.\nManage digital guest experience through auditing reservations from the online booking engine, and online travel agencies.\nFacilitate the check-in and check-out process of guests at the Front Desk, including preparation for large group registrations.\nDepartmental project management, both short-term and long-term.\nAdministrative tasks, to include but not limited to, organizing, management of lost and found procedures, issuing of employee key cards.\nExplain all policies and enforce them, including penalties, when necessary.\nHandle basic public relations and escalate if the issue requires manager interaction.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nParticipate in Glen Eyrie Staff and Team meetings/trainings.\nParticipate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.\nParticipate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required.\nSubmit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.\nMust adhere to the handbooks from both the Navigators and Glen Eyrie at all times.\nOther job-related duties as assigned.\nCORE COMPETENCIES\nStrong customer care focus\nFriendly, professional, and courteous demeanor\nMINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS \nSpiritual: Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.\nExperience: Prior retail or hospitality experience, including phone, computer and cash-handling experience.\nTechnical Knowledge & Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency. Excellent computer skills.\nCommunication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal & written, to interact with guests and Glen Eyrie staff.\nSchedule: This position is looking for someone who can work three to four 2:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. shifts per week.
