Duties may include the following:\nTeaching graduate students within a defined field of expertise;\nDeveloping and managing course syllabi and ensuring that syllabi meet Program and School standards;\nPlanning and creating lectures, discussions, and course assignments;\n\nAssessing student learning outcomes and aiding student success;\n\nSubmitting grades in a timely manner\n\nPart-time faculty at The New School bargain collectively through Academics Come Together, ACT-UAW, Local 7902.\nQUALIFICATIONS VARY BY DEPARTMENT\nA terminal degree or equivalent experience in the field of specialty is preferred.\n\n2-3 years of teaching experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives, preferably in a College, University, or school setting.\n\nAbility to work with diverse students and colleagues;\n\nProven success creating inclusive classrooms;\n\nHourly Rate:\nSTUDIO HOURLY RATE\n\n$135/contact hr\n\nSEMINAR HOURLY RATE\n\n$156/contact hr\n\nWork Mode: On Site #LI-DNI\nPlease prepare a Resume/CV and Cover Letter outlining your previous relevant experience.
