The Role:

Minute Media is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to play a key role in building and optimizing our in-house Video Management System (VMS) and the cutting-edge video player it powers, serving both B2B and B2C products. As part of a dedicated and passionate team, you'll build scalable backend services and high-performance frontend experiences that drive video delivery, user engagement, and monetization - working across the whole stack, from the APIs and tooling behind the scenes to the playback experience users see.

On our team, the backend is written in Go and the frontend in vanilla JavaScript and React.

AI tools (Claude, AI coding assistants, etc.) are an integral part of our development process. We are looking for a strong developer who's made these tools part of their workflow, using them to move faster while owning the thinking and the quality of what ships.

Responsibilities:

• Own our next-generation video experience end to end - building and maintaining features across our in-house VMS and video player, from backend delivery to frontend playback, with a focus on smooth performance, low latency, and high engagement.
• Design and build the Go services, APIs, and data models that power the VMS and video delivery.
• Develop and maintain web applications using vanilla JavaScript and React.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding practices within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment, moving fluidly between projects and priorities as they evolve.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a full-stack developer.
• Strong backend development skills, including building and consuming RESTful APIs and services.
• Strong proficiency in vanilla JavaScript and React.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, primarily MySQL.
• Proficient in modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and version control tools such as Git.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices across the stack.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, AI coding assistants, etc.) as part of your development workflow, with the judgment to review and verify what they produce.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BSC) or an equivalent technical degree

Advantages:

• Hands-on experience with Go.
• Exposure to additional data stores such as Redis, MongoDB, or OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of ad tech and experience with technologies such as programmatic advertising or related fields.
