They have continued to expand their local presence and build a high-performing team to support their long-term growth ambitions in the Australian market.\nDue to continued business growth, they are seeking a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager to join their growing Australian Finance team.\nReporting to the Finance Lead, this role offers excellent exposure to multi-entity financial reporting, renewable energy project accounting, and collaboration with an international finance team, while playing a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business's Australian operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting\nCoordinate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes across multiple Australian entities, including project SPVs.\nPrepare and review financial statements, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.\nPrepare and coordinate group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.\nDeliver accurate and timely financial reporting packages for local management and Group Finance.\nInvestigate accounting discrepancies, resolve routine reporting issues and ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and Group accounting policies.\nTax, Audit & Compliance\nReview BAS/GST reporting and other applicable Australian tax compliance obligations.\nSupport corporate income tax reporting and related matters in collaboration with external tax advisers.\nCoordinate annual financial audits, including audit schedules, supporting documentation and responses to auditor queries.\nFinance Operations & Stakeholder Collaboration\nOversee day-to-day accounting activities performed by team members, including AP/AR, general ledger and reconciliations.\nProvide technical guidance and coaching to junior finance team members.\nSupport the integration and standardisation of finance operations across the business's Australian entities.\nCollaborate with the Finance Lead, Australia, Group Finance and other stakeholders to resolve accounting matters, communicate progress and escalate significant issues.\nAbout You\nEssential Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.\nCA or CPA qualified (CA preferred).\n5-8 years of strong working experience in financial accounting, month-end closing and financial reporting within an Australian business environment.\nExperience in group consolidation, intercompany accounting and reporting across multiple legal entities.\nSound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, GST/BAS and relevant statutory reporting requirements.\nAbility to independently manage accounting and reporting deliverables, prioritise competing deadlines and resolve issues.\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nMust have the legal right to work in Australia.\nHighly Regarded\nExperience in renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, property development or other project-based industries.\nExperience with project SPVs, intercompany financing arrangements and development expenditure.\nExperience supporting external audits and coordinating with tax advisers.\nExperience improving accounting processes, reporting procedures or finance systems.\nFluent Mandarin language skills are essential for effective communication with the overseas head office.\nWhat's on Offer\nOpportunity to join a growing international renewable energy organisation.\nBroad exposure to complex multi-entity and project-based accounting.\nA genuine opportunity to step into a leadership role and influence business growth.\nCollaborative and supportive team environment.\nLong-term career development within a high-growth sector.\nApply Now\nIf you are a motivated finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex accounting challenges and contributing to a growing business, we would love to hear from you.
