You will play a key part in strategically managing important PCBA system integration projects, each at different stages of their lifecycle, ensuring seamless progression from concept through to stable production.\nMain Responsibilities:\nSubcontract & Supplier Delivery\nLead supplier selection activities ensuring capability, capacity, and maturity alignment to programme phase (NPI through to production ramp) and delivery risk profile.\nOwn end-to-end delivery performance of assigned subcontractors, ensuring alignment to programme milestones, cost targets, and quality requirements.\nEstablish and maintain robust supplier delivery plans, tracking performance against agreed schedules and proactively managing risks and constraints.\nLead recovery planning and execution for underperforming suppliers, driving timely resolution of delivery or quality issues.\nSupplier Readiness & Technical Programme Support\nEngage suppliers early in the design and NPI phases to ensure technical capability, capacity, and readiness to support programme requirements.\nConduct supplier readiness and capability assessments, including industrialisation, compliance, and documentation maturity.\nEnsure alignment between engineering change processes and supplier execution, minimising disruption to programme delivery.\nSupport structured onboarding and qualification of suppliers, including compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.\nCommercial & Contract Management\nDevelop and implement sourcing strategies aligned to programme and business objectives.\nLead contractual negotiations and establish framework agreements that appropriately manage delivery risk, performance expectations, and commercial outcomes.\nManage change control, variations, and commercial risks throughout the subcontract lifecycle.\nSupplier Performance & Development\nDrive supplier performance management through data-driven reviews, KPIs, and structured improvement plans.\nIdentify and implement supplier development initiatives to improve capability, capacity, quality, and delivery reliability.\nDevelop resilient supply strategies including dual sourcing and alternative supplier identification.\nCross-Functional Leadership\nAct as the primary link between procurement, suppliers, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to ensure integrated execution.\nSupport programme teams in defining procurement requirements and ensuring supplier deliverables meet technical and programme objectives.\nProvide clear communication and escalation of supplier-related risks and opportunities.\nExperience, Skills and Qualifications\nSignificant experience in procurement, subcontract management, or supply chain roles within a technical or engineering environment.\nDemonstrated experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and managing supplier engagement from design through to production.\nStrong understanding of supplier readiness, qualification processes, and compliance requirements, including regulatory, environmental, and quality standards.\nProven ability to manage supplier performance and deliver recovery in challenging delivery environments.\nExperience working within complex, low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments.\nStrong commercial and contractual acumen, with experience managing risk and negotiating agreements.\nExcellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.\nAnalytical capability with strong data handling skills, including Excel, SQL and ERP systems such as SAP.\nProfessional procurement qualifications, such as MCIPS are desirable.\nBachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline would be advantageous.\nEligibility for Security Check (SC)
