The role is responsible for producing analysis, management of information and documentation that support product approvals, fair value assessments, target market reviews, and ongoing product monitoring.\nA dual-hatted role\nThe Product Manager supports product governance across Progeny Wealth and provides equivalent support to Progeny Asset Management (PAM). This includespreparing ACD governance materials, Assessment of Value inputs, and fund oversight reporting. The roleensures that governance is not just designed but consistently evidenced, maintaining acomplete, accurateand audit-ready record of product decisions and governance activity.\nKey Areas of Focus\nProduct Governance Delivery\nPreparing product approval, product change, and periodic review packs; maintainingtarget market and distribution documentation; and ensuring the governance calendar is met on time and to standard.\nPAM / ACD Support\nProducing the data, analysis, and documentation requiredfor ACD governance and the annual Assessment of Value across the PAM fund range, including cost, performance, quality of service, and comparable market rates analysis.\nProduct MI and Monitoring\nBuilding and maintainingthe product MI suite, tracking in-life product performance, value, and client outcomes, and flagging where products are drifting from their intended target market.\nKey responsibilities include:\nPrepare product approval, change, and periodic review documentation for the Product Governance Committee, ensuring papers are accurate, complete, and issued on time.\nProduce fair value assessments and supporting analysis across the wealthproduct range, including cost benchmarking and benefit mapping.\nCompile the data and analysis required for the PAM Assessment of Value and broader ACD governance reporting.\nMaintain target market statements, distribution strategy records, and product documentation, ensuring the product register remains accurate and up to date.\nBuild, maintain, and interpret the product MI suite, identify trends and escalate exceptions to the Head of Product.\nUndertake competitor and market analysis to inform product positioning, pricing, and range development.\nCoordinate with compliance, investment, operations, marketing, and external partners to gather inputs and resolve product queries. \nSupport the delivery of product changes, rationalisation, and withdrawal activity, including client and adviser communications.\nMaintain a complete and audit-ready evidence trail behind all product governance decisions.\nOur ideal person\nEssential criteria\nExperience in a product, proposition, or product governance role within UK financial services or asset management.\nWorking knowledge of PROD, Consumer Duty, and product governance requirements for manufacturers and distributors.\nStrong analytical skills, including confident use of Excel for cost, pricing, and performance analysis.\nHigh standard of written work, with the ability to produce clear governance papers for a senior audience.\nExcellent attention to detail and the organisational discipline to manage a fixed governance calendar.\nDesirable criteria\nExposure to ACD, AFM, or fund governance, including Assessment of Value processes.\nProgress towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. IMC, Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, or equivalent).\nExperience with product or fund data, platform data, or MI tooling.\nFamiliarity with proposition, investment governance, or advice governance environments. \nWe may close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications.
