This role performs a wide range of maintenance duties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring installation, office workstation setup, network cabling, and building renovations. The position also supports office relocations, coordinates small projects with contractors and vendors, assists with custodial and snow removal activities as needed, and provides responsive customer service to employees.Work Location\nThis position is an in-office role located in our West Bend office.\nResponsibilities & Qualifications\nSummary of Responsibilities\nService and repair company equipment and facilities.\nAssemble and configure office work stations.\nProvide professional and courteous service and assistance to associates.\nAssist custodial team as needed. Assist with snow removal.\nMake plumbing repairs. Clean and maintain hard floors and carpets.\nPerform exterior maintenance including roofing, caulking, brick and tuckpoint repair, and painting.\nPerform interior building maintenance and renovations including framing, drywalling, and painting.\nInstall and service vinyl and ceramic tile and carpet. Support telecommunication network by servicing station equipment, installing and testing voice cable, and diagnosing line trouble.\nInstall, test, and certify LAN transmission media up to and including category 6 UTP cable and termination equipment.\nOversee small projects with contractors/vendors. Participate in continuing education courses (HVAC, BOMI Institute, etc.).\nPerform tear-down, relocation, and setup of personal computers during associate relocations and departmental reconfigurations.\nPhysical Demands\nThis position requires significant physical activity throughout the workday, primarily performed indoors. Duties are primarily performed while standing, walking, bending, or reaching, with frequent movement between different areas of the facility. The role involves regular lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of objects and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally heavier items with assistance. Tasks may require climbing ladders or stairs, operating machinery, and handling chemicals and supplies. The role involves manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive motions and also requires the ability to respond quickly to spills or other hazards, and to perform tasks that may involve kneeling, crouching, or working in confined spaces. It may also require the use of personal protective equipment (e.g. hard hats, goggles, gloves, safety shoes, N-95 masks, etc.).\nWorking Conditions\nWork is performed primarily indoors in a variety of facility settings, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. The environment may be humid, dusty, or subject to strong odors due to cleaning products and waste materials. The noise level can range from quiet to moderately loud, especially when operating equipment. The position may require exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals. Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on facility needs.Preferred Experience and Skills\n2 years of technical support experience\nProficient computer and Microsoft Office skills\nProficient in blueprint reading \nExperience and demonstrated proficiency with document management and CMMS systems \nPreferred Education and Training\n2-year degree in Engineering Field preferred or relevant work experience \nSalary Statement\nThe hourly range for this position is $23.80-29.75. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
