Work is onsite in Port Huron, MI, 4 days per week, with one day remote.\nContract Duration: Through December 31, 2026, with potential for extension.\nResponsibilities\nCreate, process, and maintain purchase orders (POs).\nSupport daily purchasing and procurement activities.\nTrack order status and follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders.\nMaintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.\nAssist with invoice reconciliation and coordination with Accounts Payable.\nSupport inventory and purchasing administration activities.\nReview purchasing documentation for accuracy and completeness.\nGenerate reports and provide administrative support to the purchasing team.\nAssist with process improvement and operational support initiatives.\nQualifications\nDiploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment..\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience in purchasing, procurement, accounts payable, inventory, or administrative support.\nExperience with ERP, purchasing, or inventory management systems.\nExposure to supply chain, operations, or procurement environments.\nReliable, organized, and highly detail-oriented.\nCompensation\nThe compensation for this role as a consultant starts at $20/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
