For more information, please visitthe.team.\nJOB OVERVIEW:\nResponsible for assisting the Accounting Department in their efforts to accomplish the Company’s goals and objectives by providing accounting and financial support. This includes processing contracts, including invoicing and revenue schedules, preparation and recording of various journal entries, preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, maintain and analyze income statements, provide other ad hoc financial and administrative services.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\nAnalyze contracts to determine proper billing and revenue recognition schedules.\nPrepares, posts, and ensures the accuracy of revenue journals for multiple departments.\nEnsure customer invoices and credit/debit memos in the accounting software system are accurate and ensuring the delivery to the client.\nMonitors customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.\nActively participates in month-end close processes, booking journal entries and providing appropriate detail level review and analysis.\nAssist in month end reconciliation and rollforward of balance sheets accounts.\nAssists with year-end financial and other audits as required.\nEnsures accurate and timely reporting of financial results, and undertakes other special projects as requested.\nEntering invoices from suppliers for payment, creating new suppliers in Workday, providing payment status updates to suppliers and/or project managers, and ensuring payments go out in a timely manner (moving urgent invoices along the approval process, requesting in between payments, etc)\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:\nBachelors Degree in Accounting /Finance\n3+ years accounting experience.\nKnowledge of U.S. GAAP, demonstrating comprehensive accounting and technical skills.\nAbility to manage and analyze financial data.\nStrong customer service skills and attention to detail.\nStrong communication skills with internal and external clients.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines.\nWell developed analytical and problem solving and communication skills.\nAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office applications; specifically features of Excel.\nBase salary range: $55-60K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.\nActual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
