You’re the dealmaker, the connector, the “business architect” for our ambitious French team. As our proactive and strategic Business Development Manager, you’ll identify and secure new opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors, delivering tailored energy solutions that make a real impact. From first contact to signed commitment, you’ll own the process and ensure a smooth handover to our Project Development team.\nYour success will come from building authentic connections, founded on trust, empathy, and shared ambition. You'll help make Sunrock more visible and in the France market, not just as a solar provider, but as a trusted, values-led clean energy partner.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to take initiative, build strong relationships, and grow in a small team that shines bright like a diamond and radiates solar power.\nWhat You’ll Do\nManage an active pipeline - Identify, develop, and track opportunities across commercial, industrial, and retail sectors.\n\nDevelop tailored energy solutions - Understand client needs by delivering integrated energy solutions, including rooftop PV, batteries, and carports, aligned with client ambitions and local energy needs.\n\nWin new business - Build relationships, actively network, and act as the face of Sunrock to win new clients in a competitive market.\n\nFoster client relationships - Maintain multiple opportunities simultaneously, collaborating closely with Product Leads, Project Developers and Marketing.\n\nSeamless client handover - Ensure smooth transition of projects to Project Development once projects are secured.\n\nProject control & oversight - Support planning and tracking in the early phases of development projects to keep them aligned with Sunrock’s standards.\n\nStakeholder management - Engage internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project execution and success.\n\nEnhance Sunrock’s offerings & upsell - Use market insights and client feedback to refine offerings and identify upsell opportunities within Sunrock’s portfolio.\n\nCustomer Satisfaction - Proactively address client feedback and ensure a high level of satisfaction and service.\n\nMarket intelligence - Utilize market intelligence and tools (e.g., RCA) to drive lead generation and pipeline development.\n\nCross Functional - Collaborate cross-functionally to stay up to date on all service lines within Sunrock.\n\nRequirements\nWhat you bring to the table\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Energy, or a related field;\n\n8+ years of experience in complex business development within the Real Estate field, with a proven track record of closing deals;\n\nKnowledge of the energy sector, preferably in Commercial & Industrial and solar solutions;\n\nStrong commercial skills and ability to translate technical and financial insights into client-focused solutions;\n\nTalent for networking and representing the company at events, building community engagement;\n\nExcellent communication skills and a structured, independent way of working;\n\nTalent is great. Energy is essential.
