You will help build robust, scalable infrastructures and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, optimized performance, and efficient delivery of secure cloud environments.\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze system requirements to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures\nLead the design, deployment, and optimization of AWS and hybrid-cloud solutions that meet mission and security objectives\nDevelop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration\nImplement cloud governance frameworks and ensure compliance with applicable security and regulatory standards\nOversee automation workflows for deployment, monitoring, and operations to reduce manual effort and increase system reliability\nEvaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend enhancements to improve performance and cost-efficiency\nSupport both development and operations teams by integrating CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and performance tuning\nServe as a cloud expert, promoting collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning across engineering teams\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field\nMid-level candidates: 4-7 years of relevant experience\nSenior-level candidates: 7-9 years of relevant experience\n US citizenship with active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required\n4-7 years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced cloud solutions\nDemonstrated expertise in AWS environments supporting multiple classification domains (e.g., IL5 to IL6+)\nProficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EBS\nStrong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible\nProficiency managing and securing Linux and Windows Server systems in production environments\nHands-on scripting experience using Python and Bash for cloud automation\nStrong understanding of cloud security best practices and implementation of advanced security controls\nExperience supporting operational environments, managing ticket queues, and leveraging knowledge bases for issue resolution\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical topics to diverse audiences\nActive CompTIA Security+ or equivalent 8140/8570 certification (valid for at least one year)\nRelevant AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or SysOps Administrator) preferred\nDesired Experience:\nExperience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence\nKnowledge of CI/CD frameworks and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, etc.)\nFamiliarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nBackground in automation, monitoring, and performance tuning in secure production systems\nPlease note: we are not working with staffing agencies to fill these positions and are not accepting any unsolicited resumes from agencies.\n#Onsite\nThe Swift Group and Subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
