Founded in 2019, Swift supports Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence Community customers across the country and around the globe.\nWe are looking for a Research Support Specialist to join a dynamic team in College Park, MD.\nResearch Support Specialist - Level 1\nResearch Support Specialist provides administrative and basic security support to ensure efficient daily operations within a research environment. This role serves as a key point of coordination between internal teams, external partners, and government stakeholders, supporting both administrative functions and facility operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide administrative and operational support for research activities and facility functions. \nCoordinate visitors, travel, meetings, and special arrangements for VIP guests in collaboration with Government staff. \nAnswer phones, greet and log visitors, and manage incoming and outgoing mail. \nProcure supplies and materials to support research lab operations. \nServe as a liaison between organizations (e.g., government, academic, and contractor teams) to support researchers with administrative needs. \nPerform basic security functions, including maintaining visitor logs, processing clearance information, and serving as an alternate point of contact for security matters. \nPrepare facility planning reports and support facility-related documentation. \nManage and maintain time accounting systems. \nCoordinate schedules, meetings, facility tours, and travel arrangements, including expense tracking. \nRecommend administrative procedures in alignment with Government-approved processes. \nMaintain records and ensure proper documentation management. \nCoordinate with Government personnel to schedule facility maintenance and support operational readiness. \nQualifications:\nMinimum of 5 years of experience providing administrative support in a professional environment. \nStrong organizational, communication, and coordination skills. \nExperience supporting operations in a structured or regulated environment is preferred. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities and interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders. \nFamiliarity with basic security procedures and administrative systems is a plus.\nUS citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required\nThe Swift Group and Subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
