The business is a start up that is scaling up and they're looking for the right person to join the team that understands that they're building the business. \nWhere you'll be doing it \nRemote-first working shapes this Johannesburg consultancy, with co-working space in Sandton and boardrooms used when needed. Expect more office time during probation while you learn the business and build rapport with the CEO. The organisation advises complex, infrastructure-critical businesses across mining, energy, construction, engineering, manufacturing and industrial services. \nWhat you'll need \nA matric qualification with proven record across approximately three to seven years in B2B business development, consultative sales or professional services is essential. Evidence of prospecting, pipeline ownership and closing business must be matched by commercial judgement, negotiation strength, stakeholder management and crisp written communication. You also need confidence with senior decision-makers, proposal coordination, CRM discipline and the ability to explain complex services clearly. Relevant complex B2B sector exposure is advantageous. \nWhat you'll get \nBeyond remote-first flexibility and 18 days' annual leave, the scope offers direct CEO exposure and a visible hand in building a repeatable business development function.
