For more information, please visitthe.team.\nTHE·TEAM is seeking an experienced Director, Cybersecurity (EMEA) to provide hands-on cybersecurity leadership, people management, and operational security support across the region.\nReporting to the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity, this role will serve as an extension of global cybersecurity leadership during EMEA business hours. The Manager will lead and develop UK/EMEA cybersecurity team members while remaining actively engaged in incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, investigations, assessments, and cybersecurity initiatives.\nThis is a player-coach role for someone equally comfortable mentoring security professionals, partnering with business and technology leaders, coordinating incidents with our SOC/MDR provider, and working directly alongside the team to resolve security issues.\nThe position will strengthen THE·TEAM's follow-the-sun security model while ensuring regional execution remains aligned with global cybersecurity strategy, architecture, standards, and governance.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING\nLeadership & Team Development\nServe as the day-to-day cybersecurity leader for EMEA and an extension of the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity.\nManage, mentor, and develop UK/EMEA cybersecurity team members.\nEstablish priorities, provide technical guidance, and support professional development and performance management.\nRepresent Cybersecurity with regional Technology and business stakeholders.\nMaintain visibility into regional risks and escalate material issues to global cybersecurity leadership.\nSecurity Operations & Incident Response\nWork hands-on with the team on security investigations, incidents, assessments, remediation, and technical initiatives.\nServe as a primary internal cybersecurity escalation point during EMEA business hours.\nPartner with the 24×7 SOC/MDR on detection, investigation, containment, and incident response.\nCoordinate regional response activities and escalate significant events into the global incident-response process.\nSupport security analysis across identity, endpoint, email, SaaS, cloud, and other enterprise technologies.\nParticipate in incident-response exercises and post-incident reviews.\nVulnerability, Risk & Security Initiatives\nDrive regional vulnerability prioritization, remediation, and validation with Technology teams.\nSupport vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, risk assessments, and remediation activities.\nParticipate in security reviews of new technologies, SaaS platforms, cloud services, AI capabilities, and integrations.\nHelp ensure regional technology implementations meet established global cybersecurity architecture and control requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to improve security controls, visibility, processes, and automation.\nGovernance & Business Partnership\nPartner with EMEA Technology, Legal/Privacy, People, and business leadership on cybersecurity matters.\nSupport client security reviews, audits, third-party assessments, and regional security requirements.\nAssist with implementation and evidence collection for global policies, security frameworks, and certification requirements.\nMaintain awareness of relevant UK and European cybersecurity and regulatory considerations in partnership with Legal and Privacy.\nTHE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED\nStrong professional experience in cybersecurity/information security, including senior technical or leadership responsibilities.\nExperience managing, mentoring, or leading cybersecurity professionals.\nHands-on experience with enterprise security operations and incident response.\nExperience working with SOC/MDR/MSSP providers.\nPractical knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity security, vulnerability management, email security, and cloud security.\nExperience investigating identity, endpoint, email, SaaS, and cloud security events.\nUnderstanding of vulnerability management, penetration testing, risk assessment, and remediation practices.\nFamiliarity with frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls.\nExperience within a multinational or geographically distributed organization preferred.\nRelevant professional certifications are desirable but should not substitute for demonstrated experience.\nTHE·TEAM does not discriminate on the
