Our learning centers combine structured curriculum, innovative technology, and supportive educators to help students succeed.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Assistant Learning Center Manager to support the daily operations of our Redwood City learning center.\nIn this role, you'll work closely with the Center Manager to help coordinate class schedules, assist students and families, support tutors, and handle administrative tasks that keep the center running smoothly.\nThis is a hands-on support position, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is detail-oriented, and wants to gain experience in education operations and customer service.\nNo previous management experience is required! We provide training and guidance to help you succeed.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nCenter Operations & Administrative Support\nAssist the Center Manager with daily operational and administrative tasks.\n\nCoordinate student schedules, attendance records, and classroom arrangements.\n\nHelp prepare classrooms, organize learning materials, and maintain a welcoming environment.\n\nUpdate student information and maintain accurate records.\n\nSupport general administrative needs and communicate operational updates to the Center Manager.\n\nParent & Student Support\nWelcome students and families and assist with check-in and general inquiries.\n\nAnswer routine questions regarding class schedules, programs, and center procedures.\n\nHelp families with scheduling changes and other basic requests.\n\nCommunicate parent feedback or concerns to the Center Manager.\n\nProvide a positive and professional experience for families visiting the center.\n\nTutor & Team Coordination\nAssist with tutor scheduling and communicate class assignments or schedule changes.\n\nHelp coordinate tutor onboarding and training arrangements.\n\nEnsure tutors have the necessary classroom materials and information.\n\nSupport communication between tutors and the Center Manager.\n\nGeneral Enrollment & Event Assistance\nHelp schedule trial classes and center tours for prospective families.\n\nAssist with enrollment paperwork and basic program inquiries.\n\nPrepare materials and provide logistical support for center events and community activities.\n\nDirect enrollment-related questions and decisions to the Center Manager.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nFriendly, patient, and comfortable working with children and families.\n\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nDependable, proactive, and willing to support a variety of daily tasks.\n\nComfortable using basic computer applications and learning new systems.\n\nAvailability to work onsite in Redwood City, approximately 25 hours per week, Tuesday-Saturday.\n\nPreferred\nBachelor's degree or current college enrollment.\n\nPrevious experience in customer service, tutoring, education, or administrative support.\n\nMandarin proficiency is a plus, but not required.\n\nRecent graduates and candidates without previous management experience are encouraged to apply!\n\nCompensation & Growth\n$25/hour.\n\nHands-on training in education operations and administration.\n\nOpportunities to develop customer service, communication, and organizational skills.\n\nMentorship and support from the Center Manager.\n\nPotential opportunities for career advancement as Think Zone continues to grow.\n\nWhy Join Think Zone?\nAt Think Zone, you'll be part of a supportive team that helps students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
