Center Manager - Education & Operations
Location: Redwood City, CA | In-Person
Employment Type: Full-Time | 35-40 hours/week
Compensation: $30/hour + Enrollment Commission + Performance Bonus

Think Zone is looking for a hands-on leader to take ownership of our Redwood City Learning Center. This isn't a traditional administrative role-you'll have the opportunity to manage the day-to-day business of a growing education center, build relationships with local families, lead a team of tutors, and help drive student enrollment and center growth.

Think Zone is a growing network of Bay Area learning centers helping K-8 students strengthen their math skills, confidence, and independent thinking.
We combine thoughtfully designed curriculum, technology-driven learning tools, and dedicated in-person support to create personalized learning experiences for students and families.

What You'll Own
Center Operations & Leadership
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operations and performance of the Redwood City center
- Manage scheduling, classrooms, learning resources, and overall center organization
- Recruit, onboard, coordinate, and support tutors with guidance from HQ
- Build a positive, accountable, and collaborative center culture
Student & Family Experience
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Serve as a key point of contact throughout the student journey
- Monitor student progress and partner with families to support learning outcomes
- Create a welcoming and engaging experience that keeps families connected to Think Zone
Enrollment & Center Growth
- Help prospective families understand Think Zone's programs and learning approach
- Support trial classes and convert interested families into long-term enrollments
- Build relationships with local schools and community organizations
- Support local events, outreach, referrals, and other growth initiatives
- Take ownership of enrollment and retention goals with support from the broader team
Who We're Looking For

- Enjoy working with students, families, and teams
- Communicate confidently and build relationships easily
- Are organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do
- Enjoy solving problems and taking ownership of results
- Want to develop your skills in operations, people management, customer experience, and business growth
- Can work full-time and in person in Redwood City
Experience in education, operations, customer success, hospitality, retail management, sales, or team leadership is a plus, but we are open to candidates from different backgrounds who demonstrate strong leadership potential.

Schedule & Planned Time Off
- 35-40 hours per week
- 48 working weeks per year
- Four scheduled weeks off annually:
- July 4th week
- Thanksgiving week
- Christmas week
- New Year's week
Grow With Think Zone
This role is designed to provide exposure to multiple areas of running a growing education business-from team management and operations to customer experience, enrollment, and local marketing.
As Think Zone expands, successful Center Managers will have opportunities to take on responsibility for larger teams and multiple locations.
Center Manager → Regional Manager → Regional Director
You'll receive training, ongoing support, regular feedback, and clear expectations as you develop.
