Individuals who propose next steps and solutions for team review, without waiting for instructions.\nIn return, we give our consultants the platform to progress quickly in their careers, learning new skills and building deep domain and transformation expertise.\nWe do this by providing our consultants with a variety of delivery engagements and business development tasks, giving them the ability to move across a wide mix of client types, domains and projects.\nIn parallel, we will give you plenty of support and learning along the way, including training, advice and ongoing direct access to our Domain SMEs, Senior Management team and Tonic Co-Founders.\nRole Summary\nDriven by our growing reputation as consultancy leaders in Capital Markets, we are continuing to expand our global team.\nThis is where you come in, to join our team as a Senior Consultant based in London, working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.\nOur Senior Consultants have three key core streams of responsibility:\nHigh-quality client delivery, across a range of complex advisory and transformation engagements \nDefinition of high-quality service proposals and market intelligence, partnering with our Domain SMEs \nPlaying an active role building out our Tonic team and culture \nThis will be a crucial role through a period of accelerated company growth, where you will have the opportunity to work on innovative and impactful projects alongside a team of talented colleagues.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient Delivery\nLeading of critical transformation Business Analyst deliverables, across a wide spectrum of client delivery engagements: \nDetailed client current state analysis (process/IT & data/tech/data/governance/more) \nBusiness requirements definition \nVendor assessments and selection \nTarget operating model definition \nTest strategy, planning, scripting and management \nOperational readiness, including creation of operational procedures \nGo-live management \nCreation of high-value project artefacts, acting as Tonic’s ‘IP’ \nPMO support, to ensure high-profile client engagements are kept on track \nProject status tracking, project reporting, RAID management, project team communications, escalations, etc. \nTonic Service Definition\nRegulatory analysis, to ensure we can meet our clients’ evolving needs \nInterpretation of key regulations, creation of easy-to-understand regulation summaries and breakdowns for Tonic and client usage \nTonic service proposal definition, to drive the next wave of Tonic engagements for our clients \nContent creation for Tonic sales and marketing campaigns Sales proposal support, to grow Tonic and your own business development skills \nOngoing assistance to Tonic sales process with new and existing clients, including creation of pitch materials, attendance at sales meetings, to sales reporting and MI \nTonic Team & Culture\nOnboard and mentor junior team members when they join Tonic \nTake an active role in recruiting new consultants via interviews and assessments \nDemonstrate a positive, inquisitive and ‘can-do’ approach to work \nAdditional Tasks\nAny additional duties as they arise as part of company growth, to be agreed on an ad-hoc basis.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n>5 years' experience within Financial Services at a Big 4 consultancy, or other major consultancies \nSuccessful completion of a Capital Markets graduate scheme at a Big 4 consultancy, or other major consultancy \nFirst-hand experience of derivatives or securities finance products \nFirst-hand experience of one or more of the following domains: \nCollateral management \nPost-Trade (clearing, settlement, custody, etc) \nDigital (digital assets, AI, crypto)\n2+ years' experience of Business Analyst responsibilities Excellent English skills, both spoken and content creation: \nWritten and visual content \nStrong Microsoft Office application skills, in particular: \nExcellent PowerPoint skills \nHighly skilled in using Excel, including Pivot tables \nStrong data analysis skills \nExcellent and versatile communication skills, verbal and written, with all levels and types of stakeholders \nStrong organisational ability and attention to detail \nDesirable Skills & Experience\nDirect Project Management Office (PMO) experience, including project status tracking, reporting, RAID management, etc \nCross-product experience, including derivatives (bilateral OTC/cleared OTC/listed), repo, securities lending and prime brokerage \nQualifications\nA bachelor's university degree, 2:1 (or equivalent) \nWe are committed to providing fair employment opportunities to all our employees and applicants.
