With 100+ years of operation under our belt and an average employee tenure of 15 years, come find out what makes The Toro Company the best place to build a career.\nWhat Will You Do?\nIn order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:\nDefine and implement automated test strategies for embedded software and system behavior, with a focus on repeatability, scalability, and fast feedback.\nCreate and maintain test automation frameworks, reusable libraries, and tooling (primarily in Python, with C/C++ where appropriate for harnesses and embedded hooks)\nDesign verification approaches that reflect embedded constraints and behaviors (RTOS concepts and embedded concepts like interrupts, timers, concurrency, memory, and I/O).\nDerive test plans and test cases from requirements and provide traceability between requirements, test execution, and results.\nWhat Do You Need?\nTo be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n5+ years Experience developing embedded software and applying that experience to verification and automated test development for embedded systems.\nStrong proficiency in C and working knowledge of C++, Python (and additional scripting languages as applicable) for test automation and tooling.\nFamiliarity with embedded systems concepts, including RTOS, interrupts, timers, and memory management.\nExposure to automotive or off-highway communication protocols such as CAN and J1939.\nExperience with static and unit testing tools (GoogleTest, Parasoft C/C++test, TPT, or similar).\nMIL/SIL/HIL test experience and development of simulated or bench-based test environments.\nExperience using ALM tools for requirements traceability (for example, Visure, DOORS, PTC Integrity, Polarion, or similar).\nExperience designing controls for automotive, aerospace, off-road, or industrial equipment.\nWhat Can We Give You?\nAt The Toro Company, we are always working to make sure our employees know just how valued they are.
