With 100+ years of operation under our belt and an average employee tenure of 15 years, come find out what makes The Toro Company the best place to build a career.\nWhat Will You Do?\nIn order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:\nLead the design and development of scalable and efficient data pipelines, focusing on data integration, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.\n\nAssistin Architectingand maintainingdata warehouses, data lakes, and data marts on cloud-based platforms, with a primary focus on Snowflake.\n\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers,\n\nCollaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data solutions align with business objectives.\n\nLeverage your deep understanding of the business to identifyopportunities where data and analytics can help solve complex problems and drive strategic initiatives.\n\nImplement data modeling, transformations, and orchestration using dbtto create a unified and reliable data layer.\n\nDevelop and maintaindocumentation for data engineering processes, standards, and best practices.\n\nWhat Do You Need?\nTo be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, or a relatedfield.\n\n8+ years of experience in data engineering.\n\nStrong expertisein data warehousing and cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on Snowflake.\n\nProficiencyin ETL tools, particularly Fivetran, and experience with data orchestration and transformation using dbt.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of SQL and database design principles.\n\nProgramming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.\n\nExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Dev Ops) and Agile methodologies.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with data visualization tools like Domoor Power BI.\n\nKnowledge of distributed computing and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).\n\nCertification in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\n\nWhat Can We Give You?\nAt The Toro Company, we are always working to make sure our employees know just how valued they are.
