The Intake Specialist will be the point of contact with prospective clients, will screen leads, and will be responsible for obtaining case details that will allow the firm to determine if a case should be retained. This position must be staffed by an individual who is business development oriented, and works well with people. We ask that you have a strong Immigration or Criminal Defense background and possess the ability to screen potential client calls. You will ensure operational excellence and handle a large volume of incoming client calls. The ideal candidate will be able to work some weekends and be able to commute to our Los Angeles office as is required for this role.\nResponsibilities:\nScreen telephone calls before scheduling an attorney-client consultation\nPersistently monitor all potential new client inquiries (email, internet, phone and referrals)\nImmediately contact every potential client and establish relationship with client\nUpdate logs and reporting systems to reflect status of all potential new clients\nConduct potential new client interviews with genuine empathy and compassion\nSchedule appointments for potential clients\nTake accurate notes during the attorney-client initial consultation\nCollaborate with our attorneys to complete the initial consultation process\nAssist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databases\nFollow instructions from the supervising attorney and perform accordingly\nWrite emails, transcribe notes, research legal documents, fax, copy, and create spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets)\nQualifications\nBilingual (English/Spanish) with full proficiency REQUIRED. \nMinimum 3 years of sales experience required, customer service experience a major plus\nStrong background with performance-based metrics\nCase Management software experience is a major plus\nResourceful and motivated to solve issues as they arise\nProven track record to meet goals and deadlines\nMust be able to work weekends\nImmigration and Criminal Defense experience is strongly preferred. \nPay range is subject to change based on experience on a case-by-case basis.\nHere at The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC, we offer medical, dental, and vision insurance.
