At The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC, our expert legal team is a driving force behind our continued success. We’re in search of an experienced Tenant Law Case Manager - Virtual Assistant to join our team and provide strong case management and client support in California Tenant Law matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain tenant law cases throughout the case lifecycle.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely case updates.
- Monitor case progress and ensure all necessary documents and information are obtained.
- Assist with client intake, case organization, and follow-up.
- Collect, organize, and maintain case-related documents and records.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, deadlines, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files within the case management system.
- Coordinate appointments, communications, and other case-related activities.
- Ensure timely follow-up with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in the case.
- Provide general administrative and virtual support to the legal team.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Case Manager or similar legal experience in California Tenant Law.
- Hands-on experience handling California Tenant Law cases is required.
- Strong understanding of California Tenant Law terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Experience managing cases from intake through resolution.
- Strong client communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with legal case management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
