Provides intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Integrates third party products.\n2. Translates technical specifications into code for moderately complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients. Writes programs, develops code, tests artifacts, and produces reports. Employs software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that support automation.\n3. Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Provides follow up production support. Submits change control requests and documents.\n4. Follows software development methodology. Follows development architecture standards.\n5. Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Participates in systems analysis activities.\n6. Understands client business functions and technology needs. Understands Vanguard's tools, technologies, and applications/databases, including those that interface with business area and systems.\n7. Learns and complies with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures.\n8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.\n9. Contribute to optimizing system performance through efficient database design and code enhancements to support scalability.\n10. Support the integration and maintenance of data pipelines between APIs and backend systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.\n11. Maintain and update software documentation for backend components, highlighting logic, processes, and architecture.\n12. Apply intermediate knowledge of backend system security and data protection best practices during development.\nQualifications and Skills\nMinimum 3 years of experience in application development, system analysis, or database management.\nBachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or Bachelor’s in Computer Applications (BCA).\nExperience with database design, SQL, and data optimization techniques for high-performance applications.\nFamiliarity with API development, integration, and third-party software integration.\nMust have skills: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node JS, AWS, SQL queries, CI/CD, TDD/BDD, Python (optional).\nProficiency in Agile, Confluence, JIRA.\nAptitude for continuous process improvement for process flows/workflows.\nAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and business stakeholders.\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS) and modern development tools is a plus.\nAdobe Experience Manager AWS Cloud Background.\nExpert in debugging in AWS and legacy systems using modern tools.\nProficiency in Agile Monitoring/refining dashboards, SLOs, and solving known problems by following playbooks.\nLocation\nThis role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguard India.
