The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting scalable backend services, APIs, data integration solutions, and event-driven applications that enable critical business capabilities.\n\nCore Responsibilities:\nEngage with business stakeholders and other team members to ensure solutions are aligned to business outcomes.\n\nBrings structure to business requests, translates requirements into an analytical approach, and executes through to completion.\n\nWorks with the technical lead and the team to develop solutions, ensuring alignment to security and architectural standards.\n\nUnderstands Vanguard's tools, technologies, applications, and processes.\n\nIdentifies opportunities for continuous improvement.\n\nProvides support to other team members in building skills and improving engineering practices.\n\n Qualifications and Skills\nMinimum 5 years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and back-end architecture.\n\nBachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, or a Master’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science.\n\n5-8 years of professional experience in software development\n\nProven experience in full-stack development, ideally with Python and/or Node.JS\n\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS services, including (but not limited to):\n\nCloudFormation, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, Glue ETL, API Gateway, IAM, SQS, SNS, Athena, DMS and DataSync\n\nSolid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases\n\nExperience working within an Agile delivery environment\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub and GitHub Actions\n\nA growth mindset, with a strong willingness to learn and continuously improve\n\nA collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude\n\n Skills and Experiences that will make an impact:\nExperience working in financial services industry\n\nExperience around web technologies\n\nData engineering/Design experience (2+ years’ experience)\n\nHands on technical expertise in Python\n\nAbility to define and develop data integration patterns and pipelines\n\nLocation\nThis role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguard India.
