The expectation is to coach, mentor, and elevate the technical capability of the team while remaining hands-on in design and development.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership\nLead design and implementation of complex software solutions.\n\nServe as the primary technical advisor for the team.\n\nDrive architecture decisions with architects and senior stakeholders.\n\nEnsure solutions meet scalability, resiliency, security, and performance requirements.\n\nTeam Development\nCoach and mentor engineers.\n\nCreate growth opportunities for TS02 engineers.\n\nEnsure quality engineering practices are consistently followed.\n\nDrive peer reviews and technical excellence.\n\nProduct Ownership\nOperate as part of a product team with end-to-end accountability.\n\nOwn development, production support, reliability, and continuous improvement.\n\nLead incident response and problem resolution efforts.\n\nBusiness Partnership\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and portfolio management teams.\n\nTranslate investment and liquidity management requirements into engineering solutions.\n\nCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nModernization & Innovation\nDrive adoption of cloud-native patterns.\n\nSupport modernization of liquidity management systems.\n\nRequired Technical Skills\nMinimum 8 years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration.\n\nBachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or Bachelor’s in Computer Applications (BCA), or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA).\n\nLearning mindset & coaching ability, Product ownership mentality, financial domain knowledge\n\nBackend\nStrong experience in Golang, Python, and/or Java\n\nHands-on experience with API design and microservices architecture\n\nExperience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB\n\nEvent-driven and distributed systems experience preferred\n\nFrontend\nAngular and/or React\n\nAbility to contribute across the full stack when required\n\nCloud & DevOps\nAWS Cloud, ECS / Fargate, Lambda, S3, Storage Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines\nEngineering Practices\nAgile delivery (Scrum and Kanban), Jira, Confluence, TDD / automated testing, Production support and operational ownership, Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) preferred\nLocation\nThis role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguard’s India office.
