Digital Assets Treasury Manager

About the role

We are a digital-asset infrastructure group. We build institutional custody technology and operate regulated entities in Cyprus (CySEC MiCA CASP licence), Switzerland (VQF SRO membership), the UK and the UAE.

Group treasury runs on two rails: fiat through banks and EMIs, and digital assets through custody platforms, exchanges and OTC counterparties. This role owns the digital-asset side as one centralised function, reporting to the Head of Treasury and working with Risk on the group's own position.

What you will do

• Liquidity. Manage digital-asset liquidity across custody, exchanges and OTC venues: own funds and client funds, held and accounted for separately. Daily position by asset, venue and entity; pre-funding and rebalancing between venues.

• Conversions. Conversions between fiat, stablecoins and other digital assets; coordination with the fiat side of treasury on funding both ways.

• Principal trading. Trade from the group's own liquidity: fill client and internal orders as principal, manage the resulting inventory, hedge open positions within limits.

• Own-position strategy. Together with the Risk department, build and maintain the strategy for the group's own position: limits, hedging approach, allocation across venues, and the rules for when a position is closed.

• Yield. Allocate idle own funds within policy (staking, lending, other strategies), calculate the return on every position and strategy, and report it.

• Wallets. Manage treasury and client wallets across custody platforms and exchanges: opening, signers, whitelists and address books, transfers and settlement, under the custody policy.

• Collateral & lending. Collateral positions, health factors and margin requirements on any loan or lending position backed by digital assets, with a response plan agreed before a margin call happens.

• Reconciliation. Reconcile custody, exchange and on-chain balances against the accounting records on a fixed schedule. Investigate and close every difference.

• Records, reporting & control. Complete records of every wallet and transaction. Weekly report to the Head of Treasury: balances, flows, P&L, exceptions. Month-end asset statement with valuations for accounting. Dual authorisation, limits, escalation before a limit is reached.

Requirements

• 3+ years in digital-asset treasury, trading operations or on an OTC desk at an exchange, broker, fund or fintech.
• Experience trading from own liquidity: you have filled orders as principal, managed inventory across venues, hedged positions and been accountable for the P&L of a book.
• Hands-on custody and wallet operations: institutional custody platforms, MPC or multisig setups, whitelisting, on-chain transfers across major networks.
• Experience handling client assets alongside own funds, with segregation kept in practice.
• You can calculate the return on a position or a strategy and produce an asset report that accounting can rely on.
• A controls mindset: dual authorisation, limits, complete records, reconciliations kept current.
• Confident in Excel; exchange and custody APIs or basic scripting is an advantage.
• Professional English; Russian preferred.
• Strongly preferred: experience under MiCA, VQF or a comparable regime; digital-asset investment experience (treasury allocation, staking, lending, structured products); DeFi operations; 1C or ERP exposure.
