You'll have the opportunity to influence our Data Product strategy, shape how product management is embedded across the function, and help create the data capabilities that will drive the future success of the business.\nThis is an exciting time to join a team that is investing in its people, technology and ways of working, with the ambition to build industry-leading data products that make a real difference for our customers, colleagues and business.\nAbout the role\nAs a Lead Product Manager, you'll own the vision, strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of data products or a complex, high-impact data product area.\nYou'll:\nDefine and communicate compelling product visions that align to our wider Data Product strategy.\nLead discovery activities to understand user needs, business challenges and future opportunities.\nTranslate complex data and technical concepts into clear business value and actionable product plans.\nPrioritise product roadmaps and backlogs based on customer impact, business value, strategic alignment and delivery capacity.\nPartner with Data Engineering, BI, Governance, Architecture and Delivery teams to shape and deliver high-quality data products.\nInfluence senior stakeholders, balancing priorities, trade-offs and investment decisions.\nEstablish meaningful success measures, OKRs and adoption metrics to demonstrate value and drive continuous improvement.\nEnsure products are trusted, discoverable, governed and aligned to responsible data practices.\nDrive product-led ways of working across the Data function, helping teams focus on outcomes rather than outputs.\nIdentify opportunities to leverage data, analytics and AI to improve customer, colleague and business outcomes.\nAbout you\nWe're seeking an experienced product leader who combines strategic thinking with strong delivery focus and a passion for using data to solve real business problems.\nYou'll bring:\nSignificant experience in Product Management, including ownership of complex products, platforms or product portfolios.\nStrong experience working with data products, analytics, reporting platforms or data services.\nProven ability to develop product strategies, roadmaps and measurable outcomes.\nExpertise across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and validation through to adoption, optimisation and retirement.\nStrong prioritisation and problem-framing skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions in complex environments.\nExtensive experience working within Agile delivery environments.\nGood understanding of data governance, data quality, privacy and regulatory considerations.\nOutstanding stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and navigating competing priorities.\nCommercial awareness and the ability to connect product decisions to business performance and customer outcomes.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and create alignment across technical and non-technical audiences.\nA continuous improvement mindset and a passion for building products that deliver measurable value.\nExperience leading, coaching or mentoring others and helping teams adopt best practice product management approaches.\nSome of our benefits\nFlexible, hybrid working model \nInclusive culture and environment, check out our Glassdoor reviews \n£6500 flexible benefits allowance to suit your needs \n30 days holiday + bank holidays \nLinkedIn Learning access \nBonus potential (performance and business-related) \nUp to 25% discount on Very.co.uk \nMatched pension up to 6% \nMore benefits can be found on our career site \nHow to apply\nPlease note that the talent acquisition team are managing this vacancy directly, and if successful in securing this role, you will be required to undertake a credit, CIFAS, Right to Work checks and if a specific requirement of your role a DBS (criminal records) check.
