Bringing together Product, Engineering, Governance, Analytics and Delivery expertise, the team works collaboratively to solve complex challenges and unlock new opportunities through data, insight and AI.\nThis is an exciting time to join a team that is investing in its people, technology and ways of working, with the ambition to build industry-leading data products that make a real difference for our customers, colleagues and business.\nAbout the role\nAs a Senior Business Analyst, you'll lead discovery and delivery activities across large-scale, cross-functional programmes with a strong data focus.\nYou'll:\nLead strategic discovery activities to identify data-driven opportunities and define solutions that deliver measurable business value. \nWork with Product, Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics, and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into clear requirements and actionable data solutions. \nAnalyse business processes, data flows, customer journeys, and operational challenges to identify improvement opportunities. \nFacilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to define outcomes, success measures, KPIs, and business cases. \nOwn requirements from discovery through to implementation, ensuring full traceability from business need to realised benefit. \nPartner with Product Managers to shape and prioritise backlogs based on customer impact, commercial value, risk, and technical complexity. \nSupport the evolution of data platforms, reporting capabilities, governance frameworks, master data, data quality, and self-service analytics. \nUse quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform decisions, validate assumptions, and measure outcomes. \nLead solution validation, UAT strategy, and benefits realisation activities. \nProvide expert guidance on organisational change, process redesign, and adoption of new data capabilities. \nInfluence senior leaders and help drive alignment across multiple teams and business functions. \nAbout you\nWe're looking for an experienced Business Analyst who has delivered complex Data initiatives and has a genuine passion for using data to solve business problems.\nYou'll bring:\nSignificant experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst within large, complex environments. \nProven experience delivering data, analytics, reporting, or platform transformation programmes. \nStrong understanding of data architecture, data flows, data governance, data quality, and modern data ecosystems. \nExperience working closely with Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, Product, and Technology teams. \nAdvanced requirements engineering, process modelling, and systems analysis skills. \nStrong analytical capability with the ability to interrogate data, identify trends, and translate findings into clear recommendations. \nExperience defining KPIs, success measures, business cases, and benefits tracking frameworks. \nExceptional stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at Director and Executive level. \nStrong facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. \nExperience working within Agile environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. \nNice to have\nExperience delivering data governance, master data, customer data, AI, or advanced analytics initiatives. \nExperience supporting vendor selection processes and technology evaluations. \nKnowledge of Retail, eCommerce, Financial Services, or other customer-centric environments. \nProfessional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, BCS Advanced Business Analysis, SAFe, or Agile qualifications. \nSome of our benefits\nFlexible, hybrid working model \nInclusive culture and environment, check out our Glassdoor reviews \n£1000 flexible benefits allowance to suit your needs \n30 days holiday + bank holidays \nLinkedIn Learning access \nBonus potential (performance and business-related) \nUp to 25% discount on Very.co.uk \nMatched pension up to 6% \nMore benefits can be found on our career site \nHow to apply\nPlease note that the talent acquisition team are managing this vacancy directly, and if successful in securing this role, you will be required to undertake a credit, CIFAS, Right to Work checks and if a specific requirement of your role a DBS (criminal records) check.
