You will work closely with internal segment partners and technical peers from across the company, reporting to a Senior Manager or Director within the org.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPartner with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into well-scoped engineering work\n\nExecute against the strategy and roadmap for data products supporting Guest experiences, and contribute ideas that help shape it\n\nLead a team of engineers day-to-day, balancing delivery against plans with the growth and development of individual team members\n\nReinforce a strong culture of best practices and standards in data and engineering\n\nServe as a technical resource on delivery practices, able to speak to capabilities and processes with engineers and partners alike\n\nSupport data collection strategies and onboarding processes that enable improved data capabilities while adhering to data privacy requirements\n\nStay current on product direction for applicable technologies to understand how shifts in the consumer privacy landscape may affect the Guest data strategy\n\nRequired Qualifications & Skills:\nMinimum of 8+ years related work experience, including 3+ years’ experience leading or mentoring engineers\n\nSolid working knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Advanced Analytics, and Data Science implementations\n\nExperience with Data Warehouse platforms such as Snowflake and BigQuery, with strong working knowledge of the Snowflake Platform\n\nFamiliarity with Data Lakehouse architectures and formats/standards, such as Parquet and Iceberg\n\nExperience designing or maintaining automated, highly available ETL/ELT big data pipelines at scale\n\nExperience with data transformation and orchestration tools such as dbt and Airflow\n\nFamiliarity with data quality practices and tooling such as Data Dog and Anomalo\n\nFamiliarity with data security and privacy regulations\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences\n\nA team player with vision, passion, discipline, and integrity\n\nDemonstrated inclusive and collaborative leadership that embraces diverse thought; experience developing engineers on a team\n\nAbility to operate effectively in a matrixed organization where partnership and influence support success\n\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced and changing environment\n\nRequired Education\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience\n\nPreferred Education\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience\n\nThe hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $163,400.00 to $219,100.00 per year, in Seattle, WA is $179,700.00 to $241,000.00 per year, and in Glendale and Anaheim, CA is $171,600.00 to $230,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
