Company(International)ecommerceplatform and portfolio ofmarketingmicrosites.\n\nWork closely with thedevelopment teamtomaintainand updatethebespokeecommerceplatform,taking a proactive approach in evolving the back-end technology stack and migrating legacy codeacrosstoanASP.NET framework.\n\nAdvocate integration of technologies and development methodologies to helpdrive the businessforwardand ensurea robust, scalable platform.\n\nAreas of Responsibility\nSupportback-end website development,providing technical knowledge todelivercomplex solutionsacross full development life.\n\nWork closely with the Digital Commerce & Production Manager tomaintainand update the bespokeClassic ASPecommerce platform.\n\nDevelop new features foralocalizedASP.NETMVC 5 platform and contribute migrating legacy features over to this new platform.\n\nWritemaintainable,scalable, fault-tolerantcode,utilizingSOLID principles and OO design/architecturalpatterns, TDD, etc.\n\nProactivelymanagetools,hardwareandenvironments to support developmentrequirements.\n\nWork with team members toidentifyworkflows andservicesformanagingcode, fromversion controltodeploymentstrategies.\n\nLog and troubleshooterrors usingappropriatetools.\n\nProactively researchandexploretechniques tomaintainposition at the forefront of technology and enhance future business offerings.\n\nAreas of Accountability\nThe position has direct responsibility toLead Application Developer,Walt Disney Travel Company (International).\n\nExperience and Professional Qualifications Required\nAminimum5yearsdigital experience withstrongdigital portfolio.\n\nExperiencewith bespokeecommerceweb applicationshighly desirable.\n\nExperience in a development role, either client- or agency-side.\n\nDegree or equivalent in STEM or Computer Science discipline.\n\nSkills Required\nTalented C# developer (ASP.Net, MVC5)\n\nSolid experienceof SOAPWebServicesandRESTfulWebAPIs\n\nCompetent in useof SQL Server and T-SQL queries.\n\nExperienceof .NET ORMs (e.g.Entity Framework)desirable.\n\nKnowledge of CI andautomated build services (e.g.GitLab,TeamCity,Cakeetc.)\n\nExperience with SDL Tridion(or similar enterprise CMS)desirable.\n\nExperience of IOC containers desirable (Autofac,Ninject, etc.)\n\nExperience with unit testing frameworks (e.g.NUnit, MOQ,etc)\n\nPracticalunderstanding of HTML/JS/CSSand client-sidetechnologies.\n\nExperience with Agilemethodology.\n\nGood understanding ofsource code management with git usinggitflowdevelopment/release workflow andideallyAtlassian SourceTree as a git client.\n\nExperience with issue tracking software (e.g.JIRA)\n\nComfortable working in small
