Today, we're investing in the future through one of the biggest transformations in our history, with a refreshed brand, evolving operating model and a clear focus on delivering even better outcomes for our customers.\nAs we continue to evolve our Merchandise function, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your career and make a lasting impact on one of New Zealand's most iconic retail brands.\n Reporting into our Merchandise Systems & Governance Manager you'll play a critical role in ensuring the information that powers our merchandise function is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose to ultimately support better decision-making across the business.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nData & Governance - Maintain accurate merchandise master data across key systems and drive data quality, consistency and governance standards. \nSystems Support - Provide guidance and troubleshooting for merchandise systems and support users/teams optimising system capabilities. \nSystem Administration - Manage system updates, hierarchy maintenance and user access and support testing, upgrades and system enhancements. \nQuality & Compliance - Monitor data quality and system compliance, investigate recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions. \nStakeholder Management - Collaborate across Merchandise, Planning and Technology teams to resolve issues and improve processes \nOperational Support - Provide subject matter expertise and support for merchandise operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimising business disruption. \nProcess Governance - Maintain and improve merchandise processes, controls and standards to support consistent ways of working and effective governance. \nChange & Enhancement Support - Support the implementation of system enhancements, process changes and new functionality, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and are operationally effective \n Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve systems. \nRelevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience \nExperience working with master data, business systems or system administration in commercial environment (retail would be a bonus!) \nStrong understanding of data governance, data quality and system processes. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and drive solutions \nAdvanced Excel skills and confidence working across multiple systems \nExperience supporting business process improvement, system enhancements, testing and change implementation. \nKnowledge of merchandise, planning, supply chain or retail business processes would be advantageous \nAble to translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for stakeholders \nExceptional attention to detail, accuracy and process discipline \nHighly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment \nStrong relationship-building and communication skills, with a collaborative work approach \nProactive and curious mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and challenging existing ways of working. \nExperience working with cross-functional stakeholders to influence outcomes, resolve issues and drive process improvements \n When you join us, we offer a range of benefits that work for you, your lifestyle, and your career, which include:\nDiscounts across our brands \nBirthday leave and charity day off \n26 weeks paid parental leave \nFree parking, EV charging at our Northshore support office \nWe value collaboration, connection & flexibility - with 1 day (Friday) WFH \nOnsite gym and café at our Northcote support office (great views of the Waitemata and a decent lunch menu!) \nA range of wellbeing support and development opportunities \n This is Warehouse Country.
