We are looking for people who are curious, adaptable, and excited to help shape an AI-enabled culture that delivers better outcomes for our customers and our company.\nJob brief:\nAs a Technical Program Manager for Consumer Data at the Weather Company, you will guide the instrumentation of consumer data collection that supports reporting, analytics, and machine learning use cases. You will lead our consumer data quality initiatives across our digital ecosystem, responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of consumer data collected from our applications and websites. You will also bridge the gap between business analytics needs & technical data infrastructure while collaborating closely with front-end development teams to implement robust data tracking solutions.\nThe impact you'll make:\nCollaborate with stakeholders, such as product, marketing, and content managers, to understand business analytics requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\nWork with enterprise data architect to define data plans, tracking requirements, and specifications for downstream consumer behavior analytics.\nPartner with front-end application developers to implement comprehensive event tracking systems.\nReview and approve tracking implementation to ensure data consistency and accuracy.\nGuide data quality analysts to investigate potential or existing data issues. Work cross-functionally to resolve them.\nWork with data scientists, data and BI engineers, business analytics teams to ensure data accessibility and usability.\nEstablish and maintain comprehensive data quality standards and governance frameworks for consumer data.\nDesign and implement data validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of consumer behavioral data.\nDevelop automated data quality checks and alerting systems, such as data quality dashboards.\nEstablish best practices for data instrumentation across web and mobile applications.\nLead the design and implementation of consumer data collection frameworks.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives for data infrastructure and processes.\nEnsure data lineage documentation and metadata management.\nWhat you've accomplished:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field\n5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, software engineering or related technical roles\n3+ years of experience managing consumer data from digital applications and website\nProficiency in SQL and experience with both relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)\nKnowledge of customer data platforms (CDPs) and consumer data collection methods such as SDKs, cookies, pixels, and APIs.\nExperience with event tracking frameworks and familiar with integrating tracking among multiple partners in order to collect data across systems.\nUnderstanding of web and mobile analytics implementation (Amplitude, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel)\nUnderstanding of data privacy regulations and their impact on data collection practices\nUnderstanding of A/B testing frameworks and experimentation platforms\nExperience with cloud-based data lake solutions (AWS S3/Glue/Athena, Azure Data Lake, Google Cloud Storage/BigQuery)\nProven experience leading technical teams and cross-functional projects\nStrong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments\nProject management
