Each Project Manager has full profit and performance responsibility for his or her projects and unlimited growth potential.\nA Day in the Life:\nPerform commissioning on mechanical, electrical, controls, and process systems.\nAct as the commissioning lead for ARCO’s largest, most complex projects. In this role, you will be responsible for all pre-commissioning, functional testing, and troubleshooting activities, with the resource backing of all ARCO assets and trade partners. \nWork directly with ARCO customers and end-users regarding commissioning status, engagement of client operations staff, and facility turnover. \nTroubleshooting is a major element in this role. Candidate will not only be responsible for identifying issues, but also guiding issues from discovery, through troubleshooting/root cause analysis, to final issue resolution. This must be accomplished by taking a hands-on approach and completely owning the issue through resolution. \nProject types include Mission Critical, Advanced Manufacturing, Power & Gas Infrastructure, Municipal and Private Water Treatment, Waste-to-Value, Commercial, Controlled Environments Agriculture, and more.\nOperate as the bridge between design and construction teams. Coordinate system design with installation between clients, subcontractors, and equipment vendors in a way that ensures the seamless turnover of ARCO’s projects.\nCreate and execute pre-commissioning equipment checklists to maintain state-of-the-art quality system installations.\nCreate and execute commissioning test scripts that verify correct operation of the installed systems.\nLead project commissioning meetings that accurately set expectations and coordinate schedules for all trades.\nEffectively convey information to onsite superintendents and subcontractors using employee’s knowledge of the project’s systems.\nNecessary Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (with a focus in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural preferred) \n5+ years of experience in Mission Critical, Power Infrastructure, or Water Treatment preferred\nExcellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with different types of individuals\nStrong understanding of engineering principles (HVAC, thermodynamics, heat transfer, process engineering)\nExcellent communication and leadership skills \nHighly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to successfully work on own\nComfortable with spending time on construction jobsite - approximately 50%. \nFamiliar with construction practices and principles\nCertification in building commissioning (QCxP, CCP, CxA or similar) is preferred but not required\nWhat We Can Offer You:\nWe are dedicated to the well-being of our associates and are proud to be consistently recognized as a Best Place to Work.
