ARCO National Construction is seeking an Entry Level Traveling Assistant Superintendent to lead commercial and industrial design-build projects across the United States.\nThis is a role for an Entry Level Assistant who is ready to build their career and take ownership of jobsite execution from post-award review through project completion. You will lead subcontractors, maintain project schedules, enforce safety and quality standards, and partner closely with the project manager to deliver successful projects for our clients.\nAt ARCO, you will receive the tools, support, and responsibility to excel from day one while working alongside a team committed to superior solutions, client service, and an award-winning workplace culture\nA DAY IN THE LIFE\nLead field operations and jobsite execution throughout all phases of commercial and industrial construction projects\nDemonstrate strong leadership with the ability and willingness to face challenges, direct teams, and effectively resolve conflicts\nAttend the post-award review meeting to gather project details and begin preconstruction planning\nPartner with the project manager to develop the construction schedule, including activity sequencing, manpower, and equipment needs\nOversee the project to ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and achieves target profitability\nCoordinate subcontractor activities to ensure effective performance within the project timeline\nAssist in the preparation of job progress and cost reports to accurately reflect actual costs\nReview and approve requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and key project documents\nMaintain constant communication with the project manager to keep them informed of job progress, plans, and issues that may impact costs or schedules\nComplete daily reports documenting key project details, events, conditions, visitors, client interactions, commitments, and approvals\nEnforce adherence to the company’s safety program in all phases of the project\nLead with integrity and a commitment to quality, upholding company values and focusing on exceeding internal and external client expectations\nNECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS\n0-2 years of construction experience on warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and/or cold storage projects that are a minimum of 100k square feet \nWilling to travel throughout the United States \nProficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Excel) \nPossess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence \nAbility to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds. \nWHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU\nAt ARCO, we are committed to taking care of our greatest asset - our team.
