ARCO National Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead ground up industrial and tenant improvement design-build projects in the greater Phoenix area.\nThis is a role for an experienced Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or similar construction professional who is ready to take ownership of jobsite execution from post-award review through project completion for our projects. You will lead subcontractors, maintain project schedules, enforce safety and quality standards, and partner closely with the project manager to deliver successful projects for our clients.\nAt ARCO, you will receive the tools, support, and responsibility to excel from day one while working alongside a team committed to superior solutions, client service, and an award-winning workplace culture.\nA DAY IN THE LIFE\nLead field operations and jobsite execution throughout all phases of commercial and industrial construction projects\nDemonstrate strong leadership with the ability and willingness to face challenges, direct teams, and effectively resolve conflicts\nAttend the post-award review meeting to gather project details and begin preconstruction planning\nPartner with the project manager to develop the construction schedule, including activity sequencing, manpower, and equipment needs\nOversee the project to ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and achieves target profitability\nCoordinate subcontractor activities to ensure effective performance within the project timeline\nAssist in the preparation of job progress and cost reports to accurately reflect actual costs\nReview and approve requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and key project documents\nMaintain constant communication with the project manager to keep them informed of job progress, plans, and issues that may impact costs or schedules\nComplete daily reports documenting key project details, events, conditions, visitors, client interactions, commitments, and approvals\nEnforce adherence to the company’s safety program in all phases of the project\nLead with integrity and a commitment to quality, upholding company values and focusing on exceeding internal and external client expectations\nNECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS\n5-25 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent on tilt-up and/or tenant improvement projects\nWilling to travel throughout the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area, with occasional national travel as required to support project and business needs\nProficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Excel)\nPossess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence\nAbility to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds\nWHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU\nAt ARCO, we are committed to taking care of our greatest asset - our team.
