This role partners closely with \nAccounting leaders, Technology teams, vendors, and other business functions to ensure \nsystems such as Vista, Keystyle, Textura, etc. support accurate financial operations, strong \ncontrols, and continued business growth.\nA DAY IN THE LIFE\nServe as the functional Financial team owner and primary contact for accounting \napplications.\nPartner with Accounting leaders to identify system, reporting, data, and process \nneeds.\nTranslate business needs into requirements, workflows, priorities, and \nimplementation plans for Technology teams and vendors.\nDevelop and partner with IT Financial Team to maintain a roadmap for accounting \nsystem improvements, integrations, reporting, and automation.\nLead the business side of accounting application implementations, enhancements, \nupgrades, testing, and adoption.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, reduce manual work, \nstrengthen controls, and improve the user experience.\nOversee accounting reporting and analytics, ensuring leaders have access to \naccurate and useful financial and operational information.\nEstablish standards for accounting data quality, system use, documentation, and \nprocess ownership.\nPartner with Technology teams to support integrations, resolve system issues, and \nmanage dependencies across applications.\nCoordinate issue prioritization and serve as an escalation point for complex \naccounting system and process concerns.\nMaintain process documentation, system procedures, training resources, and \ninternal control documentation.\nLead change management, communication, and training related to accounting \nsystems and process changes.\nLead and develop assigned accounting systems, operations, or analysis \nprofessionals.\nNECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business, or a \nrelated field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nSeven or more years of experience in accounting operations, accounting systems, \nfinancial systems, business analysis, or a related field.\nExperience leading accounting system implementations, enhancements, \nintegrations, or process-improvement initiatives.\nStrong understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, internal \ncontrols, and data requirements.\nExperience supporting enterprise accounting or ERP applications; experience with \nVista or Viewpoint is preferred.\nAbility to translate accounting needs into clear functional and technical \nrequirements.\nExperience with reporting, analytics, data validation, and process automation.\nStrong project leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholdermanagement skills.\nExperience leading team members or cross-functional project teams.\nCPA, CMA, PMP, or another relevant certification is preferred\nWHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU\nWe are dedicated to the well-being of our associates and are proud to be consistently recognized as a Best Place to Work.
