This is a relationship-driven sales role for someone who can open doors, understand technical project needs, build accurate proposals, and carry opportunities from first conversation through close and handoff.\n\nWhat You Will Do \nBuild new business across venues, theaters, schools, houses of worship, and other organizations that purchase or permanently install lighting and AV systems. \n\nDevelop and execute a territory sales plan with the General Manager to grow revenue, profit, and market share. \n\nConduct in-person client meetings and business-development calls; build long-term relationships with customers, manufacturers, and strategic industry contacts. \n\nLead complex sales opportunities from discovery through needs analysis, quoting, bid support, contract preparation, closing, and internal project handoff. \n\nCoordinate with operations and other internal teams so scope, equipment, services, and project details are understood and delivered accurately. \n\nTrack sales activity, maintain accurate CRM records, evaluate lost opportunities, and communicate market feedback. \n\nRepresent the organization professionally in sales meetings and maintain excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle. \n\nWhat You Bring \n5+ years of successful sales and customer-service experience in lighting, AV, systems integration, or a closely related technical industry. \n\nA demonstrated record of new-business development and complex-project sales. \n\nEstablished relationships with venues, manufacturers, consultants, integrators, or end users who purchase or permanently install lighting or AV equipment. \n\nStrong knowledge of lighting, audio, and video systems, with the ability to discuss technical solutions credibly. \n\nExcellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organization, and follow-through. \n\nSelf-directed, personable, and highly service-oriented; comfortable managing multiple active opportunities. \n\nStrong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM-based sales tracking. \n\nAdditional Details \nSchedule:Full-time exempt position. Availability for evenings and weekends is frequently required. \n\nTravel:Frequent travel within the territory and for client meetings is required. \n\nPhysical requirements:Regular computer and phone use.
