You will work with the marketing team, UI/UX designers and bridge the gap between visual design and technical implementation.\nWhat will a normal day look like?\nDevelop modern web solutions that provide great user experiences across multiple browsers and devices\nDevelop UI components in ReactJS framework\nBuild reusable code, components and libraries for future use\nSetting and / or maintaining standards using linting & code quality tools to ensure consistency\nKeeping a close eye on client-side performance & security concerns and be constantly looking for ways to make improvements\nEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs\nOptimise applications for maximum speed and scalability\nWork with developers, product managers, QA engineers, system administrators, vendors and others to ensure features are delivered to a high standard\nUnderstand when to automate processes to improve the delivery process of the team\nEnsuring that solutions adhere to best practices and leverage standard functionality where possible.\nEnsuring any developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable.\nYou will have experience with:\nReactJS framework, TypeScript, web servers, relational and non-relational databases, testing strategies\nHTML, CSS / SASS & JavaScript (ES6 & jQuery)\nBuild tools & module bundlers like Gulp & Webpack\nComfortable with BEM syntax\nLinting tools such as ESLint & StyleLint\nBuilding and deploying application code and configured CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bamboo CI.\nBuilding and maintaining component libraries (eg Patternlab, StoryBook, Salesforce LDS etc)\nResponsive design practises using Bootstrap and CSS Grid\nWeb performance monitoring & optimisation techniques\nExperience of an Agile software development lifecycle\nIt would be great if you had experience with:\nAI Development tooling such as Copilot, cursor\nAutomated UI Testing\nUnderstanding of DevOps delivery model\nDocker\nNodeJS\nSalesforce or knowledge of Salesforce LDS\nAutomated Testing with Browserstack\nWhy should you join Cigna?\nYou will get the chance to work with a global, truly innovative and flexible Technology division that is growing rapidly due to continued success and massive transformation.\nWe are constantly investing in, improving and innovating our global technology stack.
