The role will partner with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams to translate complex data requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.\nThe Software Engineering Lead Analyst will serve as a technical lead and hands-on contributor, responsible for designing and maintaining data models, database solutions, integration pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms. This role will drive data quality, performance optimization, production stability, and modernization initiatives while providing technical guidance, mentoring engineers, and promoting engineering best practices.\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, modern data engineering technologies, and cloud platforms, with the ability to lead complex, data-intensive and stakeholders and flexibility to support key business and delivery activities across time zones as needed.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain complex SQL, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and database objects across Oracle and PostgreSQL environments.\n\nDesign scalable data models, data pipelines, and integration solutions that support critical business and operational processes.\n\nLead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance for data engineering solutions across multiple CRD applications.\n\nDrive database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, partitioning, and capacity planning activities.\n\nEnsure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, lineage, and governance across multiple systems and environments.\n\nDevelop and maintain automated data processing, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring solutions using Python and Shell scripting.\n\nCollaborate with application developers, data analysts, architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.\n\nTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and drive operational excellence.\n\nParticipate in release planning, estimation, sprint execution, and production deployment activities.\n\nMentor engineers, conduct code reviews, establish development standards, and promote engineering best practices.\n\nSupport cloud migration, database modernization, and application transformation initiatives.\n\nLeadership Responsibilities \nProvide technical leadership and direction to a distributed team of data and software engineers.\n\nOwn delivery commitments for critical data engineering initiatives and ensure high-quality execution.\n\nPartner with onshore and offshore stakeholders to prioritize work, manage risks, and drive outcomes.\n\nCoach and mentor team members, fostering continuous learning and technical roadmaps.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Skills:\n7+ years of software engineering, database engineering, or data engineering experience.\n\nStrong hands-on expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.\n\nExpert-level SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning.\n\nDeep understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, indexing, partitioning, and data modeling.\n\nHands-on experience with PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.\n\nExperience building ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integration solutions.\n\nHands-on experience with Python and Shell scripting.\n\nExperience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Redis.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\n\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nGood understanding of Healthcare and PBM business processes.\n\nCloud & Data Platform Experience (Preferred)\nExperience with AWS services such as RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, ECS, and CloudWatch.\n\nExperience with cloud-native data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar analytical platforms.\n\nExperience designing and supporting scalable data lakes and modern data architectures.\n\nKnowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.\n\nExposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.\n\nExperience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.\n\nExperience with data quality, observability, metadata management, and governance frameworks.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with Java/Spring Boot for data integration services.\n\nKnowledge of healthcare claims, prior authorization, member, provider, or formulary data domains.\n\nExperience supporting large-scale, mission-critical production systems.\n\nExposure to AI/ML data pipelines and analytics platforms.\n\nRequired Experience & Education:\n7+ years of experience in Software Engineering/Data Engineering, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and data engineering technologies.\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems,
