The quality analyst is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for data and analytics projects. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments within IM D&A and partner functions (e.g. technology) to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements, and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional complying to the business requirements and user-friendly.\nTo be successful as a quality analyst, you should demonstrate strong attention to detail and have analytical and problem-solving abilities with quality outcome in mind. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues.\nQuality Analyst Responsibilities:\nDevelop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.\nImplement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.\nIdentify and remedy defects within the production process.\nConduct User Acceptance Testing and work with businesses to validate results.\nWork with Release Managers and IT to deploy Analytics Solutions into to production and between environments.\nCreate and document test plans and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases.\nSupport staging of data in lower environments.\nRecommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.\nCompile and analyse statistical data.\nEnsure that user expectations are met during the testing process.\nDraft quality assurance policies and procedures.\nEnsure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.\nWork with Release Managers and IT to deploy Analytics Solutions into to production and between environments.\nAbility to produce and report on test progress and performances against a set of key metrics\nQuality Analyst Requirements:\n3 to 5 years of experience as Quality Analyst.\nBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.\nUnderstanding of Data & Analytics field and have experience with SQL, Python.\nExperience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nStrong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbout The Cigna Group\nCigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is an advocate for better health through every stage of life.
