Greets patients and their families, assists patients with dressing/undressing, transports or ambulates patients, and assists patients with comfort needs.\n\nPromotes team member and patient safety in all activities and to all patient types to ensure a safe environment for everyone.\n\nCompletes documentation on time and accurately in accordance with department policy and procedure.\n\nPrepares, maintains, and cleans equipment, such as wheelchairs, carts, oxygen tanks, imaging equipment, and exam rooms, and follows infection prevention guidelines to ensure a safe environment for team members and patients.\n\nPartners with all imaging departments and inpatient units to assist in a safe and efficient patient flow.\n\nCompletes department tasks, such as stocking supplies, checking outdated supplies, performing safety audits and tracking, and cleaning rooms and equipment to remain compliant with requirements, regulations, and policies.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School diploma or GED preferred\n\nMust be 18 years of age\n\nAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nAbility to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance\n\nJob classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nNormally works in climate controlled office environment\n\nFrequent sitting with movement throughout office space\n\nFrequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments\n\nOccasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock\n\nOccasional high noise level in work environment\n\nPossible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents\n\nOccasional contact with aggressive and or combative patients\n\nUse of computers throughout the work day\n\nFrequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers\n\nScheduled Weekly Hours:\n40Scheduled FTE:\n1Location:\nThedaCare Regional Medical Center -
