WE FUEL UPTIME.\nPosition Summary\nThe Branch Manager is responsible for directing and supervising the staff and day-to-day operations of the assigned branch location, ensuring the delivery of quality customer service and the achievement of sales and productivity goals.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAttract, train, and retain qualified candidates for all roles.\nCreate and maintain a positive and engaged work environment.\nOversee the day-to-day workflow of the branch.\nConduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustment as appropriate.\nConduct daily team meetings with branch staff to clarify daily activities.\nCoordinate employee work schedules and control overtime expenses.\nResolve employee conflicts, address corrective actions, and work closely with the Human Resources department.\nCollaborate with the Division Manager to set performance standards, which may be based on financial and operational goals and required compliance with internal, local, state, and federal policies, procedures, and regulations.\nPrepare and provide performance and production reporting to the Division Manager.\nConducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives. \nIdentify training needs and opportunities, and develop and implement a plan to meet those needs.\nMaintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.\nAnswer incoming sales calls as needed to complete business transactions.\nEnter sales and lost sales into the ERP system.\nCreate work orders and invoices as needed.\nComplete and/or oversee daily reconciliations and bank deposits.\nParticipate in community activities to promote the organization and build goodwill.\nManage inventory control, including inspecting order accuracy before accepting vendor deliveries, performing quality checks on inventory, conducting cycle counts, reporting discrepancies to leadership, and following all company Loss Prevention policies.\nPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor.\nMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nHigh school diploma required; secondary education preferred.\nKnowledge of diesel engines and their components.\nAt least three years of experience working in branch operations. One year as an Assistant Branch Manager, Shop Manager, or Sales Lead is highly preferred.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\nExperience with Salesforce is a plus.\nExperience with ERP platforms is a plus; Epicor Prelude is utilized by the organization.\nExperience with inventory control.\nExcellent leadership and management skills.\nExcellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.\nChampion all safety policies.\nSuccessful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.\nFosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
