Junior PM and Growth Engineer (with Computer Science Background)

We’re looking for someone who is highly analytical and creative to join our team.

Responsibilities

As a Core Junior Product Manager with a Growth Engineering speciality, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Product Officer (CPO) in executing the product roadmap and spearheading growth engineering initiatives. This role is ideal for a dynamic, data-driven individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building products that users love, and has a computer degree. You will act as a bridge between the product management and the rest of the company, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roadmap execution:Support the CPO in delivering the product roadmap, coordinating across teams to hit milestones on time.
• Cross-functional collaboration:Act as the link between product, engineering, marketing, and data science to keep work aligned.
• Experiment engineering:Peer-review growth code and experiment analysis, launch experiments (e.g. on Firebase), debug, and QA features before release.
• Research & reporting: Run competitor and user research, and report product performance to the CPO and stakeholders.
• Pricing & packaging experiments: Design, ship, and analyze tests on price points, bundles ("kits"), intro offers, and paywall design across the Web2App funnel, including setting up and maintaining the underlying plans in Chargebee across staging and production.
• Willingness-to-pay & dynamic pricing:Run pricing research (surveys, conjoint, Van Westendorp, Gabor-Granger) and support WTP-based segmentation to match offers to users and grow LTV and ROAS.
• Funnel monetization & metrics:Optimize conversion and ARPU across onboarding, paywall, upsells, and save flows, tracking PS conversion, PS_LTV_14, ARPU, and upsell attach rate.

Requirements

• Has a background in software engineering
• Is very confident in JSON & JAVA or Javascript (SQL is bonus)
• Is comfortable with statistical significance and common types of statistical bias
• Understands the basics of good experimental design
• Is passionate about growth, metrics, and providing an outstanding user experience
• Is data-driven and analytical. Our team strives to find user patterns and leverage them to optimize key metrics and user experience.
• Passion for learning and an interest in behavioral science is a bonus

  What would be Fabulous:

• Ideally, has a bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, any technical major, or related work experience.
• Has designed and run AB/ RCT trials before. Understand the nuances of good experimental design.
• Background in data science is a bonus.
• Background/interest in ML.
