This is a highly cross-functional role designed for someone who enjoys turning data into clear, actionable answers for the business. You will dig deep into data to uncover insights, build analytical and reporting frameworks, and run ad-hoc analyses to answer emerging business questions. You’ll work closely with teams across Data, Risk, Operations, and GTM, translating data into insights that inform strategic decisions across the company.\nLocation\nThis is hybrid role based in NYC (3 days/week onsite).\nWhat you’ll do:\nTranslate ambiguous business questions into clear, structured analyses\nConduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions\nRun ad-hoc analyses and experiments to evaluate hypotheses to address emerging business challenges and opportunities\nWrite and optimize SQL queries against Snowflake, and use Python/dbt to clean, transform, and model data for analysis\nPartner with Data Scientists to analyze and monitor existing models and conduct deeper analyses in response to business questions\nSupport recurring model monitoring and established Data Science processes developed by senior team members, including investigating trends, anomalies, and changes in model outcomes.\nCommunicate findings clearly through data storytelling, visualizations, and presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders\nSynthesize analyses into clear reports and presentations for cross-functional and strategic discussions\nWhat you bring:\n2+ years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or related quantitative role\nDegree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative role\nProficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, with a foundational understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the intellectual curiosity to explore data and investigate open-ended questions\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset\nBenefits\nOpportunities to make an impact within a fast growing company\nMedical, dental, & vision insurance, beginning day one\nHealth savings account with employer contribution\nFlexible spending accounts (healthcare, dependent care, commuter)\n401(k)\nGenerous PTO and paid holidays\nFlexible working hours\nPaid parental leave\nCompany sponsored short and long term disability\nBase Salary\nThe base salary range is between $120,000 - $140,000 annually.\nBase salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
