This is a unique opportunity to join the organization as the first dedicated technology product hire and play a foundational role in shaping the future of our internal and customer-facing platforms.\nYou will be responsible for defining and owning the product roadmap, managing execution with an external engineering team, and driving technology initiatives that directly impact the way our business operates. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this highly visible role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to build the product function from the ground up.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and own the product roadmap for Millennium Alliance's proprietary platform and broader technology ecosystem\nPrioritize and manage the product backlog, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and making strategic trade-off decisions\nLead sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives with an offshore engineering team\nCoordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validate deliverables, and oversee product releases\nEvaluate third-party software solutions and make recommendations regarding build-versus-buy decisions\nPartner with stakeholders across Client Services, Delegate Acquisition, Sponsorship Sales, Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership to gather requirements and define priorities\nMonitor platform adoption, collect user feedback, and continuously improve the product experience\nIdentify project risks, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of product initiatives\nPresent product updates, milestones, and performance metrics to executive leadership and steering committees\nDrive the evolution of the platform from internal operational tooling to a scalable customer-facing product\nWhat Makes This Role Different\nOwnership from Day One - You will establish the product roadmap, processes, and standards as the organization's first dedicated Product Manager.\nDirect Business Impact - The platform supports more than 100 internal users today and will ultimately serve thousands of sponsors and executive delegates annually.\nGreenfield Opportunity - Build within a modern technology environment without the burden of legacy systems or extensive technical debt.\n Career Growth - Help establish and scale a permanent product function within a company experiencing significant year-over-year growth.\nDesired Skills & Experience\n5+ years of product management experience with ownership of a product, platform, or technology initiative\nProven experience managing external development partners or distributed engineering teams\nDemonstrated success delivering products from concept through launch, adoption, and iteration\nStrong experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative product development methodologies\nExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to balance business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints\nExperience with B2B platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), event technology, or operational software solutions is highly preferred\nComfortable reviewing technical documentation and collaborating closely with engineering teams\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities\nLocation\nNew York, NY (In-Office)\nThis role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and leadership teams and is based full-time in our New York City office.\nWe are an inclusive employer and value diversity at our company.
