Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.\nRequired: TS/SCI with a Polygraph\nDescription:\nAs the Business Process Engineer, you will serve as the Scrum Master and coordinator for a cross functional technical team to ensure enterprise-wide integration of engineering efforts by conducting daily scrum meetings and hosting sprint planning and other agile methodology cadences.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nFacilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives \nRemove impediments and blockers to enable team productivity \nCoach team members and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and practices \nTrack and communicate team metrics (velocity, burndown, sprint health) \nShield the team from external interruptions and scope creep •Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team self-organization \nApply Process improvement and Engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. \nAssist the Government with the transitioning of existing project teams and the facilitation of project teams in the accomplishment project activities and objectives. \nServes as key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts. \nDocument and track initiatives and epics to assist in driving them to completion \nDefine, implement, and maintain business processes and procedures to meet business objectives. \nAnalyze and identify opportunities for business process improvements. \nDevelop initiatives for continuous business process improvements. \nEnsure compliance with customer and company proposed standards. \nWork with customer and developers in integration of new and existing business processes. \nUse best practices to carry out business process analysis, re-engineering, process measurements and change management activities. \nWork with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes and risks. \nEvaluate current business processes and recommend solutions for improvements.\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Required:\nA Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or business discipline from an accredited college or university and 7 years experience conducting BPR activities is required. Five (5) years experience utilizing Process Improvement methodologies (e.g. Agile technologies, Six Sigma) for GOT integration programs is required.\nStrong leadership skills \nExperience with Scrum/Agile teams to include managing teams \nExperience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar) \nStrong facilitation and conflict resolution skills \nExperience in government contracting environment \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Desired:\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification \nAdvanced Scrum certifications (CSP-SM, SAFe, PSM II) \nExperience with Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) \nPMP or other project management certifications \nDevOps/CI-CD pipeline knowledge \nExperience with business process reengineering methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean) \nExperience supporting federal agencies\nThemis Insight has all the PERKS!\nYou are our most valuable resource - your ambition, your knowledge, your creativity.
