We bring Public and Private, Civilian and Military expertise to every case.\nWe are hiring a Sr. Network Engineer (Zero Trust & Forward Networks) to work in Linthicum Heights, MD. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.\nRequired: TS/SCI with a Polygraph\nDescription:\nProvides assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks; Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents; Implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment; Analyzes network characteristics (e.g. traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes and throughput), troubleshoots problems and recommends procurement of and/or modifications to network components.\nSupport the “Know your Network” Zero Trust Architecture Capabilities.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nResponsible for implementing the Forward Networks commercial tool to capture, organize, and maintain all Mission Island network inventory, network maps, and associated vulnerabilities plus help integrate the inventory with High Side network enterprise model.\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Required:\nTwelve (12) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\nCertifications: An IAT level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.\nStrong understanding of computer networking architecture (Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Protocols, etc.)\nProficiency with understanding configurations from multiple vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.\nExperience with Zero Trust related activities (hardening systems, customer ZT compliance requirements)\nPrevious technical experience with system administration on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or similar\nAbility to read and understand system configuration files to verify correct ingestion into Forward Networks\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Desired:\nForward Networks/Redseal experience or comparable network modeling tool Networking certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or equivalent\nThemis Insight has all the PERKS!\nYou are our most valuable resource - your ambition, your knowledge, your creativity.
