Additionally,\nthe candidate will:\nPossess a thorough understanding and ability to apply intermediate concepts of cyber engineering and cybersecurity \nMaintain thorough knowledge and understanding of the DOD cybersecurity policies and the Risk Management Framework \nInitiate actions to conduct cybersecurity engineering research andanalysis and provides recommendations for the implementation of security\nmechanisms \n\nInitiate actions to apply advanced concepts of cyber engineering and cybersecurity to development and architecture projects \nCoordinate effort to develop cybersecurity documentation, conceptpapers, and test plans required by Command policies and the Risk\nManagement Framework \n\nAnalyze complex information independentlyand takes appropriate actions, and reviews and implements\nrecommendations from others \n\nMaintain extensive knowledge and understanding of DOD and/or IC engineering efforts, across multiple engineering disciplines \nDevelop and delivers articulate and effective briefings/presentationson complex cybersecurity engineering topics as applicable to assigned\nprojects to any size audience that may include high-level decision\nmakers \n\nPrioritize competing requirements and tasks, and manages long-term and short-term obligations \nCoordinate effort to develop all cybersecurity documentation, conceptpapers, and test plans required by Command policies and the Risk\nManagement Framework \n\nInitiate actions to evaluate functionaloperation and performance in light of test results and makes\nrecommendations regarding C&A \n\nEffectively provides engineering guidance to cybersecurity engineers Level I and II \nExperience:\nMinimum\n15 years of experience as a Cyberspace Operations Engineer or related\nfunctional field with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,\nCybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. Must have a\nDoD 8140/DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification.
