Recommends appropriate courses of action.\nWorks with managers and supervisors assisting in documenting performance and/or disciplinary issues.\nConducts investigations regarding complaints and concerns brought forth by team members or management.\nDemonstrates ability to formulate recommendations for corrective action based on investigation findings & internal policies and procedures as well as applicable federal, state and/or local employment laws. \nDemonstrates knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws.\nDemonstrates knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements. .\nReviews involuntary terminations consistent with policies and procedures. \nDevelops and maintains a tracking system for all employee investigations and grievances. \nMust possess the ability to maintain confidentiality\n Schedules, prepares and facilitates grievances.\nMaintains detailed notes and files for all investigations and grievances.\nOther duties as assigned by manager or director.\nEssential Functions\n Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.\nMust be able to work holidays and weekends as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours, as needed.\nTravel to/from work and on-site attendance to perform the essential functions of the job.\nMust be able to lift/pull up to 10 pounds.\nRequirements\n Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)\nA Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Counseling, or equivalent applicable experience preferred.\nA minimum of three years’ experience in Human Resources or operations supervision, preferably with experience in employee relations or dispute resolution. \nStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience, tact, and respect. \n Must be able to demonstrate sensitivity and awareness on behalf of a diverse workforce.\nAbility to maintain composure under pressure\nBenefits\nFree meal on shift\nTraining & Development\nHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)\nRetirement Plan (401k,)\nLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)\nPaid Time Off \nFree Parking\n*Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $53,500-69,600 annually.
