Our expertise allows us to seamlessly distribute pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other healthcare products to consumers, ensuring greater accessibility and convenience.\nJob Summary\nThe Pharmacy Hub is building a modern, high-quality sterile compounding operation, and we're looking for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to be part of the team that prepares our sterile medications day to day.\nIn this role you'll spend your time in the cleanroom doing the hands-on work of sterile compounding - preparing accurate, compliant preparations, verifying prescriptions, and following the SOPs and USP standards that keep patients safe. You'll work under the Pharmacist-in-Charge / sterile lead, who sets the workflow, training, and quality program. This is a great fit for a detail-oriented pharmacist who loves the craft of sterile compounding and wants to do it well.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nCompound sterile preparations: accurately prepare sterile medications following master formulation and batch records, using proper aseptic technique. \nVerify and check: review prescriptions and compounded products for accuracy, appropriate dosing, and compliance with USP chapters before dispensing.\nFollow SOPs and USP standards: work in accordance with USP <797> and <800>, including garbing, aseptic technique, beyond-use dating, and hazardous-drug handling.\nSupport environmental monitoring: participate in cleaning, disinfection, and environmental and personnel monitoring activities per the program.\nDocument thoroughly: maintain complete, accurate records - batch records, logs, and qualification documentation.\nMaintain cleanroom standards: help keep the compounding environment inspection-ready and compliant at all times.\nCollaborate: work closely with pharmacy technicians, other pharmacists, and the sterile lead to keep production accurate and on schedule.\nQualifications\nPharmD or BS in Pharmacy\n\nActive pharmacist license in good standing; eligible to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge in Florida (Florida license, or ability to obtain)\n\nExperience with sterile compounding and aseptic processing (typically 2+ years)\n\nSkills:\nWorking knowledge of USP <797> and <800>\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality, and patient safety\n\nComfortable working hands-on in a cleanroom environment\n\nGood communicator and reliable team member\n\nAdditional Skills and Competencies\n503A and/or 503B experience\nExperience with environmental monitoring and media-fill testing\nHospital IV-room or high-volume compounding experience\nFamiliarity with electronic batch records and pharmacy systems\nBackground in mail-order or high-volume pharmacy\nTechnical and Regulatory Environment\nCleanroom / ISO-classified environment, primary and secondary engineering controls, HEPA filtration,environmental monitoring, aseptic processing. \nStandards: USP <797> (Sterile Preparations), USP <800> (Hazardous Drugs), Florida Board of Pharmacy requirements, and DEA requirements where controlled substances are involved.\nCognitive and Physical Demands\nCognitive: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to focus during extended shifts.\nPhysical: Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods.
