teams.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, TypeScript and Angular.\nBuild scalable REST APIs, backend services and microservices using Node.js .\nDevelop reusable, responsive and high-performance Angular components and modules.\nIntegrate frontend applications with backend APIs and external services.\nWork with PostgreSQL and/or other relational/NoSQL databases, including basic query and performance optimisation.\nImplement authentication, authorisation, and secure API communication using JWT/OAuth and HTTP/HTTPS.\nWork with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms such as Kafka where required.\nUse caching technologies such as Redis where applicable.\nImplement application logging, metrics and distributed tracing, preferably using OpenTelemetry.\nContainerise applications using Docker and work with CI/CD pipelines for build, test and deployment.\nWrite clean, modular, reusable and testable code with appropriate unit and integration tests.\nTroubleshoot application, API and performance issues across frontend and backend.\nParticipate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nCore requirements:\nStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.\nAbility to work independently across frontend and backend.\nGood understanding of API, databases, and application architecture.\nFocus on quality, performance, security and maintainability.\nGood communication and collaboration skills\nBackend:\n3-5 years of hands-on Node.js development.\nStrong TypeScript / JavaScript skills.\nREST API development and microservices.\nExpress.js / NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks.\nPostgreSQL or similar relational database.\nUnderstanding of authentication, authorisation, and API security.\nHands-on experience with OOJS, ES6 Programming, TypeScript and JavaScript\nExperience with Server-Side Rendering and Unit Testing Frameworks\nFamiliarity with Code Quality tools and processes (ESLint, Flow, Sonar, etc. )\nFrontend:\nProficiency in Angular and the latest versions\nTypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS.\nAngular components, services, routing and reusable modules.\nResponsive web development and browser compatibility.\nFrontend performance and basic accessibility practices.\nDeep knowledge of Angular best practices and commonly used modules\nEngineering and DevOps:\nDocker and containerised application development.\nGit and CI/CD fundamentals.\nUnit/integration testing and code-quality practices.\nUnderstanding of application logging, monitoring and observability.\nAgile/Scrum development experience.\nGood to Have:\nReact.js experience.\nKafka, gRPC and Redis.\nKubernetes and cloud platforms such as
